Weekend panel picks, Fourth of July edition

Each week, some York County locals share what they are doing this weekend. Some favor art, theater, craft beer, wine or music. Some simply like finding something different to do each week. Whatever your interest, see what they're up to this weekend in July — it might help you plan your Friday or Saturday night. Want to join the panel? Email FlipSidePA Editor Skye Leppo at sleppo@ydr.com.

Kristen Evans, of Downtown Inc.: I will, (of course,) be attending First Friday downtown. On Saturday, I will head to Harrisburg to purchase a bicycle from a friend so that on Sunday, I can bike a portion of the Heritage Rail Trail with the BikeYork gang!

Jeff Gochoco, music lover: I'll be stopping by Creative York for the Christmas in July First Friday, where they'll be using colored ice cubes to paint paper ornaments from 5 to 8 p.m.

Kate Harmon, usually found downtown: On Friday I'll be attending #FFYork, complete with FlipSidePA's happy hour, sneak peek at the Handsome Cab sneak peek and the candlelight vigil for Louis Appell, Jr. On Monday I'll be at July4York; visit July4York.com for details!

John Bobby, loves local: This weekend, I'll be having pizza and listening to music on the patio at the John Wright Restaurant in Wrightsville. The view of the river and the Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge is amazing.

Mary Yeaple, parade lady: This weekend, I will be downtown for First Friday! There is so much to do we need another night. I'm also looking forward to the fireworks at the ball park on Monday.
