Janet Jackson postpones concert tour
Janet Jackson has postponed her "Unbreakable World Tour" until next spring due to unspecified surgery, according to a USA Today article.
Every date, including her June 14 show at the Giant Center in Hershey, will be rescheduled, the article said. Jackson is urging fans to hold onto their tickets, which will be "honored in a special way" when the tour resumes.
Hershey will be welcoming Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum recording artist Janet Jackson to the Hershey center on June 14, 2016. The show is one of 22 added dates of her third North American leg of the "Unbreakable World Tour."
The tour kicked of in Vancouver, BC on August 31, and will make nearly 90 stops along the way. The concert is to promote her new album "Unbreakable," which comes out this fall, led by the single "No Sleeep."
Jackson, who was recently the BET Awards Ultimate Icon honoree, has sold more than 160 million records worldwide.
Tickets for the show, which go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, are $42, $80, $82.80 and $102.80 (processing fees apply) with an eight-ticket limit. Tickets can be purchased at the Hersheypark Stadium Box Office, by phone at 717-534-3911 or 800-745-300 or online at www.hersheyentertainment.com or www.TicketMaster.com.
