The Hyssongs of Rockport, Maine, to sing July 31 in Marion Mennonite Church


CHAMBERSBURG >> The southern gospel trio The Hyssongs, headquartered in Rockport, Maine, will appear July 31 in Marion Mennonite Church, 4365 Molly Pitcher Highway South.

Seats to the 7 p.m. concert cost $5 each.

An offering to benefit the performers will be taken.

Advance tickets are available at Sunnyway Food Inc., 49 Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg; and Sunnyway Food Market, 212 N. Antrim Way, Greencastle. Tickets will also be available at the door.

The Hyssongs have been traveling for more than 18 years in a full-time ministry of music, humor and a Christian message.

Their classical music background and harmonic chord structures have made an impact on audiences and have helped the group place consistently on the Southern Gospel Times Weekly Top 40 chart.

The group was awarded Top New Trio at the 2014 Singing News Fan Awards. Their three "top 40" songs in 2014 were "God's In Control," "Thinking About Going Home" and "I Was Blind, But Now I See."
