Lawrence Golan to bring 'Autumn' to Central Market

York Central Market shoppers will get a preview of "Autumn" on Aug. 22 during a special performance of Vivaldi from violinist Lawrence Golan.

Golan, the music director and conductor of the York Symphony Orchestra, will play four 15-minute sets of "Autumn" from Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the dining area of the market, at 34 W. Philadelphia St., York.

The audience will be able to speak with Golan as well as members of the York Symphony Orchestra, York Junior Symphony Orchestra and the York Youth Symphony.

The concerto at market is a sneak peek from "In Nature's Realm," the opening concert of the York Symphony Orchestra's upcoming season. Golan will be guest violinist at the symphony's Oct. 17 show.
