Hear 'Pipes Spooktacular' in Mercersburg Academy Chapel
A Halloween concert, “Pipes Spooktacular,” will be presented by the Chambersburg and Cumberland Valley Chapters of the American Guild of Organists on Friday, Oct. 30, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mercersburg Academy Chapel.
The concert will open with Bach’s famous Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. Featured soloist, soprano Elisabeth Turchi, will be singing “Danse Macabre.” Other organists and friends include Jim Brinson, Linda Peppernick, Jermaine Cain, David Loy, Stephen Pastena, Marlin Barnes, Carolyn Kerlin, and Herb Spomer.
Audience members are invited to join in the fun by coming in costume if they wish, and “Trick or Treat” candy will be distributed at the conclusion. The concert is free but donations will be accepted.
