September's First Friday in York is all about local fashion


It's September, time to find your new favorite fall outfit.

Shop exclusive trunk shows and take advantage of seasonal sales at local boutiques this Friday in downtown York.

First Friday festivities will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Grab a bite to eat at Sven's and Uncle Paul's Stuffed Pretzels food trucks and swing by King Street, which will close at 4:30 p.m., to hear live music from AJ & AMY.

Indigo Bleu, 39 W. Philadelphia St.: Browse beautiful handmade necklaces, earrings and bracelets by Anne Vaughan Designs of Virginia. Trunk show pieces are on display now through Friday. Feeling inspired? Create your own wooden tassel bracelet with help from Indigo Bleu fashonistas on Friday. You can choose one lava bead (known for protection and strength) and one druzy bead (known for unique beauty) to complete your design. Designing the bracelet takes about 20 minutes.
