Knitting Group: Spring Grove: Calling all knitters, crocheters and spinners! Join a talented group of fiber artists from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 18 at Glatfelter Memorial Library, 101 Glenview Road. Last Comic Standing Live Show: York: Season 9 of "Last Comic Standing" premiered July 22 on NBC, with an all new group of the world's funniest comics. Read and interview with Clayton English. Spooky York Downtown Dark History Tour: York: Quartering, cannibals and hauntings, oh my. Park Excursion: Shrewsbury, Spring eld and North Hopewell Townships: Take a 75-minute ride on a truck-pulled people-mover at at 2, 4 and 6 p.m. Oct. 22 at Spring Valley County Park on Crest Road in Glen Rock. Parks Program Coordinator Jeri Jones will take participants back in time to tell the famous story about the "Hex" murder, and look at nature and discuss local folklore. Cost is $10 person. Halloween in the Park: Hanover: Join the Friends of Codorus State Park for a Halloween event that will feature hayrides and other activities from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 23 and 24 at Codorus State Park, 1066 Blooming Grove Road. 66th Annual York Halloween Parade: York: The Annual York Halloween Parade starts at 2 p.m. Oct. 25, heading down Market Street, from Richland Avenue through downtown York to Broad Street. The theme for this year's parade is "Proud Past, Strong Future," and entrants are encouraged to convey York County's accomplishments in their float designs and marching drills.
