Jim Carrey acts as pallbearer for ex-girlfriend Cathriona White

Jim Carrey was in Ireland Saturday to help carry ex-girlfriend Cathriona White to her final resting place.

The actor was seen carrying out pallbearer duties in her hometown of Cappawhite, located in south-central County Tiperrary.

A family friend of White's told People, "It was nice that he carried her coffin," adding that he looked "terribly upset" during the funeral service.

White, a makeup artist, was found dead in her Los Angeles apartment on Sept. 28. Suicide notes, including one addressed to Carrey, were found near her body, in addition to prescription pill bottles.
